Karnataka Central Tax and Customs Zone is hosting the 53rd Central Revenue South Zone Sports Meet between 29th and 30th January 2023.
The meet is being attended by around 800 participants from the Department of Revenue in the five States of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
There are 17 sporting events being conducted such as Athletics, Hockey, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Billiards, Carroms, Squash, Badminton, Body Building, Chess, Volleyball, Contract Bridge and Kabbadi.
Most events are being held at Sree Kanteerava Stadium while team events such as Hockey, Football, Basketball and Cricket are being held in their respective stadiums in Bangalore.
The results of the 1st day of the Sports Meet is attached. The same may be covered in the media so as to encourage the participants.
