Bangalore : The President of the employees union, C.S.. Shadakshari's decision of withdrawing the strike after agreeing to the government's decision to increase the salary by 17 percent has been opposed by the Secretriat Employees Union. President Guruswamy criticized Shadakshari for failing to carry the struggle which could have succeeded to get hike of 25 percent increasing in the salary as well, the demand of cancellation of NPS and implementing OPS should have been fulfilled.
The president of the employees union Shadakshari has stumbled, and has let down the expectations of the employees who all unitedly supported the strike today.
He also complained that the government has cheated the employees, He said that the secretriat employees do not agree with the government's decision. The pay hike should have been implemented retrospectively from July 2022, the order says It will be applicable from April 2023, this is unjustice to the employees, he said.
If the strike would had continued, Government would have fulfilled the demands of pay hike and abolition of NPS. It is not right decision which Shadakshari has taken, by withdrawing the strike.
